“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” -Mark 10:13-16 ESV

We believe at Valley First Assembly of God that training children in their spiritual callings and talents are just as essential as any other ministry field.

According to Jesus’s view, a child’s enthusiastic approach in faith is vital to a healthy relationship with God and to enter the Kingdom of God. Therefore, it is our priority as a Christian establishment to assist our future generations to develop through authentic worship services, welcoming atmosphere, imaginative, and “kid-crafted” biblical topics.

Ages 0-4

Our nursery facility is provided as a soothe room for parents who wish to listen to the sermon while attending to their children. Ages 3-4 years are given the alternative option for participation in Children’s Church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Ages 3-11

Worship: We encourage our families to worship together corporately during regular church services but also plan individual musical activities, fellowship and scriptures that are specifically designed for your child’s age group.

YOUTH GROUP (Grades 6-12)

NRG Youth Group is the student ministry of Valley First Assembly of God for ages 12-18 and its purpose is to train young men and women to walk in the paths that God is shaping for them as they grow into adults.

What Does ‘NRG’ Mean?

NRG is exactly what it sounds like: Energy, provided by God, our savior. NRG stands for Named the Rejuvenated of God, because no matter how young, old, wise, or unwise, strong, weak, poor or rich, we all need God’s strength to get us through the day.

Isaiah 40:30-31 says “Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. “

The pressures of this world push and pull on the decisions of our future leaders and they must learn how to cope with these pressures with the knowledge given to them through God’s Word.Through age-related missions, outreaches and studies of apologetics, our priority is to reach the Valley area youth and strengthen them so they will not grow weary or faint when discovering the true potential manifested in their lives.
